Almost a month has past since my last entry, the days grow dark with the threat of rain. I don't know how long I can manage to avoid getting drenched on the way to Uni/Work...
In that month I have started taking new supplements for my gym-going. They are great. The one I'm taking currently is called Animal Stak. It increases your bodies own production of hormones related to muscle developement. I haven't actually noticed particular increases is size, but I've been in a relatively *up* mood since I started taking them, and I feel like I can do more in the gym before I'm worn out. Doesn't help motivation tho. It's like the barrier to more reps, instead of being a solid wall, is now amorphous, and can be pushed through, although is still not super easy. This is probably the thing I've got intoin the last month I'm most happy/excited with.
At uni I have started to do more work again, I finished the on-water trials, and am now processing data. Will aim to write up a draft of my thesis soon.
I went out with my new flatmates drinking also. Twice infact. The most recent one was to Trunk, then on to midnight chinese food and two a.m. bowling. TBH I was fairly bored until the chinese food came along, my flatmates friends were outgoing and friendly enough, but very clicky, as tends to be the case when you're the only one who doesn't know people. Anyway, one of the cakebread crew is coming to the movies tonight with my other friends and me so there is still more socialising to come.
Work has been good the last month. I've been getting the hang of most of the day to day stuff, and can even do some more involved things. Alot of the time though, it is just grin and bear, think of the money. And the money is nice, for two and a half days a week I'm only a little bit under the Australian average income. With full-time work I would be rolling in it, except for tax of course. I wonder though, other people I know work full time and don't seem excessively wealthy... Buying a house must be a drain on finances. Yet everyone does it eventually... for the most part. Maybe I should think about skipping buying a house, and just start trying to invest and make money... its a good time to, the market just droped like 5%, cheap stocks for sale...
But that being said, I am terrible at saving money, I spent $185 on more suppliments by animal on ebay yesterday, although that was 3 packets. Pak,M-stack and Cuts. Can't wait to try them out and see what the results are like... My brother asked why I was so into trying to build up nowdays, I told him, this is my new hobby... and I'm an obsessive kind of person... Now if only that obsession would result in 15kg lean mass add-on... ;p
